This week has been full of "ups and downs." To start with, Sunday was the beginning of the meetings for my home Church's Spring Revival. Evangelist Lou Rossi was a blessing in each service and I pray that these meetings will truly turn our Church to a time of definite Spiritual Revival. Sunday afternoon between services, I found a text message that my dad had sent earlier that morning saying that he was taking my mom to the ER because of a recurrence of a cellulitis infection that she dealt with about eight years ago. She was admitted to the hospital that afternoon and is due to go home tomorrow now that the infection is finally going down. Her blood pressure is still very high so please continue to pray for her.
Today I had a few free hours to call Pastors, and even though I started by praying for God to make this a productive day, I didn't have very high hopes. I was happily "disappointed" (from my pessimistic beginning) and the Lord allowed me to schedule three more meetings and make several good contacts. Once again, God proved that He is able to do "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think." Praise God that His timing is always perfect and He is always in control!
